The so-called first AI to "pass the video Turing test" just miserably failed each one of my extremely simple Turing tests.

Apparently I chatted here with a "Phoenix," not a "Griffin." So @Tavus & its employees @mikewang_sf @samuelclay are now pitching a fit. Well then Tavus, put your money where your mouth is. DM me a link for me to test out Griffin before the public release. Then we'll see if your beloved "Griffin" passes my Turing Tests.

You were quick on the trigger there but that isn't Griffin. Read the post and you'll see that it's still in limited release. You're using Phoenix 4.5, a model that does a great job of assisting with all of our use cases.

That's not how you test a real-time AI chatbot for the Turing test. You should test it to see whether you can just talk to it naturally and tell if it's AI. Not a bunch of parlour tricks that you know will trip it up.

Yep it's there. Try a bigger screen if you can. Just make sure you don't pause the video. Ghost messages are only visible while the video is playing

Make sure you're trying to see it while the video is playing. If you still can't see it try a PC monitor instead of a phone and/or try squinting. Individual frames contain nothing discernable (the image will actually seem to disappear when you pause). Your mind (subconsciously) generates a pseudo-image by grasping the relation between pixels in adjacent frames. AI, however, can only analyze individual frames, wherein no text actually exists

Hopefully that’s it. I’m out of the house for the weekend. I’ll check my laptop when I get back.
