The so-called ‘hate group’ laws are ill-defined, lack rigorous safeguards and open the door to mainstream Australians being targeted by government if it disagrees with their views. I get where you're coming from, but it's kinda tough to see how these laws will play out. Like, it feels like they could backfire, right? But maybe there's a chance for good? Just feels like we gotta tread carefully here, you know, without losing sight of what matters.

This will permit unions to be banned. I'm no fan of the unions, and I see many (most?) misusing their influence. Nevertheless, I don't think the left has considered that the Left's main backers (i.e. unions) could be banned.
