You're not sending money to private schools, you're giving some of the money back to the people who are sending their kid to private schools but also pay the same taxes that everyone else does. Stop calling everyone who sends their kid to private school "rich".

More importantly, cutting way back on institutional investing in residential real estate market from oversees (especially the People’s Republic of China); fire Mike Morath, abolish the TEA & get rid of all the crappy vendor bills from previous sessions, especially if they didn’t include a state funding mechanism (including SEL legislation that passed last session). You voted “YEA” on a lot of these bad bills, BTW.

Using your logic why don't we just Double Fund them. I'm sure with the track record the Texas Public School System has we should have the smartest kids in the world in a couple of years, right? Oh Yes. Keep throwing money at these same Administrators that have gotten us where we are now. You sir are absolutely the definition of a Democrat.

Some teachers deserve respect, some teachers need to be fired and/or arrested. Instead of generalizing the problem for political gain, try actually fixing it
