The Source featuring Candi Staton - You Got The Love (1991 Remix) The definitive version IMO; shame about the shite video lol. Sampling the instrumental beats from Frankie Knuckles' remix of 'Your Love', combined with Candi Staton's vocals. The single climbed to #4 in the UK.

DJ Eren. My dad’s first cousin & one of my heroes. It was his mashup. Sadly we lost him in 2024. ❤️

Such a tune. I always preferred this version though….

It's brilliant. Frankie Knuckles did a brilliant remix on a song called 'Blind' by Hercules and the love affair 👌

not a patch on Frankie’s original tune Your Love

It's up there with Carly Simon's Why on the "amazing song with shite video" stakes

Any Layer Cake fans? Rhetorical question.

Tooon I actually liked the video, but hey ho

I refuse to listen to other versions

Not available on Spotify. The bastards.

The version they used in Layer Cake

We weren’t watching videos, we were dancing our arses off, didn’t even know there was a vid

Tuuune👏👏

The video isn't that bad! It's so early 90s

Yeah that's your opinion lol.

Tuneeee

Mark Knight remix is a beast

Was it patsy Kensit and that James bond fella dancing on this song

This song was originally used in a straight-to-video documentary about an obese man trying to lose weight.

Thought this was 95/96 I remember because Robbie Williams had a cover of George Michael, freedom. Around that time.

Absolute belter! Never took to any other version in the same way

I want them all back to do an updated version ❤️

Is that a truelove label?

This is the definitive version.

Brilliant 🤩

Frankie Knuckles used this on almost every of his sets

Agreed

💯

Best version 👌

Oh without a doubt.

This one!!

Yeah It's cool It's awesome in fact But it just rips of Frankie Knuckles Your love The 1997 remix is much better but nowhere near as overplayed as this 1991 remix which makes it better in my opinion

TUNE!!!!

I know the start of the song, but in another song .. the question is .. what song it is ? Thank You !

Still absolute perfection

I can still know the original to the other versions by sound and say no that’s not the original that’s later
