Other Congress leaders wore it with pride as well. Everyone, except Rahul Gandhi. This is a sheer insult of the Northeast and its cultural ethos by the Leader of Opposition. This isn’t about fashion or personal choice. It’s about acknowledging the culture, the occasion, and the institution you are part of. You may disagree politically. But when you attend a national event — especially one graced by the Hon'ble President of India — basic respect for Indian traditions is non-negotiable.
