Tesla's self-driving hardware is already obsolete. HW4.0 isn't capable of safe Level 5 self-driving, if it was 4.1 wouldn't be needed. HW1 failed HW2 failed HW2.5 failed HW3 failed HW4 being upgraded Don't believe me? Look at Musk's track record of lies about Tesla's hardware:
