Hizb ut-Tahrir is a non-violent Islamic political party that calls for the liberation of Palestine and the return of the Khalifa. An inquiry into antisemitism and social cohesion is not equivalent to a targeted inquiry into the events leading to the Bondi ISIS inspired massacre. All he has done is devise a strategy to mislead the public, making the terms broad and diffuse to avoid accountability. The Royal Commission should focus specifically on the Bondi incident and the conduct of Albanese and his government in the lead-up to it.
