the fat electrician did a really good video on what happened with the original Siracha

Heck ya nice to a little justice. Maybe the farmer should start his own hot sauce company. 🤔

This happens to especially small businesses everyday. You do work for years then all of a sudden some young punks wet behind the ears thinks they can feather their cap by cutting the small businesses out and going cheaper somewhere else. Sometimes it cost more in the long run.

This is why I buy rocoto

Karma is indeed a cruel mistress, and knowing how to harvest pepper is the smallest part of knowing how to produce them. Great story Michelle.

Good for the farmer!

I was a big siracha guy for years and years and 100% agree it hasn’t tasted right since this debacle Ended up switching brands a few years ago and haven’t looked back 🖕Huy Fong

The Farmer started his own company called Dragon Sriracha. People say it tastes like the old Sriracha. Support the farmer

Never buying Fong Sriracha. I saw the sauce in the Asian Market and it's brown. Yucky brown. I put it back.

Wooooooow. Guess what I’m not buying anymore.

The pepper farmer should use the money to set up his own Siracha production kitchen & brand. Take it all!

This is why no one ever files patents for food products.

i wonder if that farmer hooked up with trader joe's after that, their sriracha is really good

Debacle indeed. If you like the stuff I highly recommend Tabasco Brand Sriracha - hopefully they stepped up and took over those pepper deliveries.

California for you. We need to move.

My understanding is that the original owner of the Sriracha company passed control on to his son. It was the son trying to scrape extra profit. (Can anyone confirm?)

Corporate management strikes again !

Luckily I still have a bottle from 2015.

I love it when large companies who practice dirtbaggory take it in the 🩳

The Underwood brand is now the go-to Sriracha.

I know you from Loosiana, but I use Grace pepper sauce. It's better than Crystal and Louisiana.

Where does the farmer sell his peppers now?

The farmer created their own sriracha sauce Underwood Ranches

@mdjenseninut When you’re a CEO/Owner don’t hire people that are going to ruin your brand’s reputation and quality by hiring @$$ kissers that tell you what you want to hear. Learning how to read people quickly and weed out the suckers (as with the parent tree and roots) will pay dividends.

Tabasco brand Sriracha is pretty good. But my favorite hot sauce is Bufalo Chipotle. Mexicans put that on their popcorn. Yum!

The farmer made their own sauce, closer in taste to the classic pre-2016 split, but stopped in 2025 to focus on other crops. Buy it now before it sells out.

Those dicks!

Interesting story.

That company deserved everything that happened

Nice karma story

I heard this shit happened mostly because Trans greedy ass children tried to do big business and it fucked the company over badly

Greed

Ur right. It doesn’t taste the saaaaaaaaame!!!

Little worse than just a year…. He had leased farmland for YEARS based on their agreement!

So that's what happened. Wow.
