The state has no solutions to the problems we've been talking about, whether it's borders, education, or the economy, but that its big idea, the Blair Institute's and Tony Blair's big idea, is that we can monitor, survey, evaluate, and assess people. It's like when they said that digital... ID was needed to stop illegal migrants crossing on boats. That argument was ridiculed, so now protecting and safeguarding children is being used to justify the same thing because it's a much more difficult argument to oppose. No decent person is going to say, "Of course I don't want to protect children," right? But the upshot of what this means is a situation in which our devices are continually monitored. We’ve just been through a period a few years ago during lockdown when we had surveillance of doctors, journalists, and ordinary citizens. We had a Rapid Response Unit and a Counter Disinformation Unit that was revived. Things that were said could result in you being shadow banned or pursued. We've seen this through the Twitter Files and the Lockdown Files. So we've got a situation where this is already happening within the state apparatus. The idea of extending that across the board is a kind of technocrat's dream. They say they're not going to misuse the data. They say it's about protection. Remember the phrase, "We're keeping you safe?" That's often the language that's used. "We're keeping you safe. We're going to protect the children. We're going to protect you." We must have the right not to have to digitally verify, not to have to digitally prove who we are to exist or to participate. There's over 3 million people who are older who don't, go online. But it shouldn't just be that or people who come up with vulnerabilities. These are choices, and we can't allow a situation that. But de facto, we're forced into doing this where we then see lots of surveillance, lots of control, and lots of data breaches. Mike. So this rally is going to be hugely important. Cities in the Four Nations, Belfast, city town hall outside that, outside Holyrood and Edinburgh, outside the Senedd in Cardiff and a really big rally at Trafalgar Square where we got speakers and performers It starts at 2:00. And we know people are concerned quite rightly, about potholes, low traffic, Low Traffic neighborhoods of which digital I.D. will be connected to. there's been a big populist uprising, which is very exciting. But we're saying that front and center people should keep putting pressure on, potential candidates. Standing on what? Their position on digital ideas. And it's so important they should make their vote on that. So we've been going around the country, we've got leaflets and fliers, Hundreds of thousands of fliers have gone out. We've got teams around Britain saying that 7th of May, let's make sure we take back democracy and put no digital I.D. at the heart of it. They don't get subsidies anymore, so they're in a lot of trouble. And the people in charge are — they don't know how to fix it, so they have to get new people in charge. Marco Rubio: We're not members of the ICC. We never signed that treaty, we never joined it. And they somehow claim that they have a right nonetheless to go after non-treaty members and put heads of state and others in jail. We've long had quarrels with them and we have lunatics and crazies involved in the ICC that are talking about charging members of the US military, maybe even the president or a future president with crimes and this not gonna happen, it's just not going to happen. If people want to sign it and be a part of that stupid organization they can, but we're not going to be a part of it and they're not going to apply their jurisdiction to Americans. That's just not going to happen. We're not going to tolerate it, now or in the future and we've warned them about it repeatedly. And now they're going to see the consequences of ignoring us.

The law says that its official purposes include any purpose that the Secretary of Homeland Security shall determine. So any purpose. And right now, the American people don't realize the system that's being set up here. "I think the other thing to understand about REAL ID is that the federal government is creating a facial recognition system for the country through the REAL ID, because the real ID requires a biometric, starting with the face. And so, you know, the idea that the government is going to— has claimed a right to collect and capture the coordinates of your body for their control should be anathema to every American. Our communities are being torn apart. We need to give this the same priority. I'm very reluctant to dictate a government solution. What we found from touring, this is a small fraction of the places we actually visited. I wanted to see every place that's doing this right, and what we found is there's a tremendous diversity of approaches that are working very very well. One thing almost all of them have in common is that they don't have government support. And so I'm very reluctant to get the government involved in a way that is going to micromanage places like this. I want to make the government support them and that may be through land purchases and through those kinds of contracts but I don't want the government to be coming in and micromanaging. I think this has to be run by NGOs and we have to use a lot of different approaches. You know Franklin Roosevelt when he was launching the New Deal said 'We're going to try these programs and we're going try something one thing at a time and if it doesn't work we're going to abandon it and were going to try something else, but were always going to be trying something.' And all I can guarantee, I can't tell you right now that there's one solution or even a multiplicity of solutions but what I can tell you is that in my administration we're going to solve the problem because I'm going to focus on it.
