Innalillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. This video shows a Stelco employee and a police officer working together to rescue a former Stelco employee from drowning near the Hulhumale bridge area. Sadly, despite their efforts, the individual has passed away. I pray that Allah grants him Jannah and provides patience and strength to his family and friends during this difficult time. I would also like to express my deepest respect for the bravery of the Stelco employee and the police officer, who risked their lives and did everything in their power to try to save him. Their courage and dedication are truly admirable. STELCO Maldives Police Dr Mohamed Muizzu

Is this Modi’s “Vikas” for the Northeast? While Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is busy making reels and showcasing the Modi Government’s “Vikas”, the project on the ground tells a very different story. Nagaland’s Dimapur - Kohima railway project was sanctioned at ₹850 crore. Today, the estimated cost has shot up to ₹6,663 crore. And you know the reason? Poor planning, faulty surveys, land acquisition issues, design changes and repeated contractor extensions have pushed the project into prolonged delays. This isn’t efficient development. It’s a failure of planning, execution and accountability.
