The steps that led into the Kop.😍

The 8th wonder of the world, it never failed to take your breath away, everytime you reached the summit you were greeted by something different week after week, a stairway to heaven, we saw the stars , touched them, what a place the old kop was.

The waterfall of piss at 3:45 on a Saturday afternoon

Walk up those steps and pick a speck. Listen to George play new bands , watch the lads warm up. Celtic / Rangers ..Happy happy days

God I used to Love walking up them, the excitement would build like a child walking in to a sweet shop with Money to spend and when I looked out on to the Kop, my heart would burst with pride and cry with happiness. ❤️

That brings back some memories, lost count of how many times I'd been up & down those steps

Trod those step’s hundreds of times to make my way to the left hand of the two roof supporting jposts - my regular spot until the SKD called me 😊 in 1972-73 season ❤️
