The Sting was released OTD in 1973. Robert Shaw was a last minute replacement for Doyle Lonnegan, the limp is real, he'd injured his knee a week before and made it a character trait. Robert Redford didn't even watch this movie until 2004. I've still not seen it.

How can this be your Twitter Handle and you haven't seen it? One of the best movies of my childhood, and the Scott Joplin soundtrack had a huge influence.

😃

Why did Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones call the show “filth” before leaving it in 2012? Since then, he’s left Hollywood, choosing to focus on his faith and community work. Here's the full story 👇

Oh don’t bother. It’s absolute rubbish. The Police aren’t even in it.

Well that's ruined EVERYTHING!

I’m sure you were aware of the story that Robert Shaw said he would never work with Robert Redford ever again. He said Redford was rude and never spoke to him offset. By contrast, she said Paul Newman was very charming and was always asking after him

He also took George Roy Hill to Ireland and got him thoroughly pissed.

😁

🤣😂

One of the best movies ever

I saw it in the cinema when it was released & have watched it a few times since then, most recently just a couple of months ago. You really should watch it: it's a joy.

I'll try and get around to it. Thank you.
