We did not start at the Stone Pony. It was not there when it all started. I asked Bruce to come Jam with Danny Federici and myself at the upstage. We Jammed, we made a band (Child / Steel Mill) and played many gigs. Then the records. Still no Pony.! It is fiction.! Not True.!!

It is NOT where it all started. The stone pony opened in 1974. Bruce already had two albums out and was working on born to run. The club did not, repeat did not start his career. Of course no one mentions the Upstage or the Student Prince.
