On the issue of the diesel prices, that one we have not agreed and we have scheduled another meeting. Until we have a serious rethink of this IMF/WB imposed procurement system, we will never fight and reduce and or eliminate corruption. It's a rigged system. And the lever pullers sit very high up! Secondly, the issue of IP rights in systems procured by government has come up again and again. NIRA is reportedly battling the same with the vender of the system. DBwambale, your knowledge of government is better than mine. Do we have a policy guiding IP rights on systems procured by and for government?

The Minister came back with an offer from the state of 8 shillings, which our members out rightly refused. The original proposal was that they take out the entire 46 shillings that they increased in the last cycle. The agreement was that the strike goes on, and we maintain it until we agree. In the Minister’s words, he said in Michuki’s time, people walked to work for two months until a solution was found. It is not right for CS Wandayi to change the statement on the floor, that is not speaking in good faith #CitizenMondayReport
