Grappler – DUI Suspect Arrested Deputies responded to a report of a dangerous driver on southbound I-25. A deputy with a Grappler responded and got behind the vehicle. While waiting for additional units to respond, the deputy’s in-car video captured the suspect vehicle colliding with the center median guardrail, weaving between lanes, and continuing to drive without its lights on. Once other units were in place, the deputy utilized the grappler to stop the vehicle. The driver was quickly taken into custody without incident. Spike strips were successfully deployed, and the vehicle was later located at an apartment complex. Officers conducted a high-risk stop, and the driver was taken into custody without incident. The individual was arrested for eluding a police vehicle and further investigated for DUI. The driver was under the legal drinking age, and an open alcoholic beverage was found inside the vehicle. Let us start with the ten years of UhuRuto regime; Taxpayers Collected Revenue was Ksh 13.8T Taxpayers Expenditure was Ksh 14.3T, a deficit of Ksh1.5T, meaning only Ksh 1.5T was to be borrowed. In those ten years, Ksh 7.7T was borrowed and the Parliament only approved the borrowing of Ksh 2T. Mackinac County, Michigan. A Michigan State Police (MSP) Motor Carrier Officer (MCO) was in the right place at the right time to safely stop a dangerous wrong-way driver on I-75 in Mackinac County. The driver was subsequently arrested for multiple offenses, including Operating Under the Influence of Drugs. On February 11, 2026, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a BOL (be on the lookout) was issued to local law enforcement by Chippewa County Central Dispatch for a vehicle traveling southbound on I-75 in the northbound lanes. A St. Ignace Post MCO was in the area and began looking for the wrong-way driver. As the MCO approached the Charles-Moran Road overpass, he observed headlights cresting the hill, traveling south in the northbound lanes. The MCO was able to identify that the vehicle was just ahead of him. He did not observe any other traffic, and he was able to position himself on I-75 and activate his emergency lights and his siren as the vehicle came closer. As the vehicle approached the MCO, it slowed but did not come to a complete stop until the MCO yelled at the driver to pull over. The driver gave a shrug and appeared confused but did stop. A subsequent investigation resulted in the woman being arrested for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs (OUID) and Possession of Analogues, as she was in possession of controlled substances (pills) that were not prescribed to her. The woman was lodged in the Mackinac County Jail. On February 12, 2026, 66-year-old Therese Parolini, from South Range, Michigan, was arraigned in the 92nd District Court on charges of OUID and Possession of Analogues. She was given a personal recognizance bond. She is next due in court on February 23, 2026. The defendant is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
