During the second and third season of Johnny Test, some scenes were traditionally animated (with smear frames) and then vectorized via Flash. That’s why the movement is a bit clunky

Season 2 and 3 had a different animation company which allowed more smear frame flash animation, which was admittedly pretty fun to see. Season 4 onward had another different animation company (Atomic Cartoons) which meant the animation was more stilted.
