Yesterday at the Renewed Hope Horse Racing Derby in Kaduna, an emotional moment happened. A jockey fell from his horse right at the start, but the brave horse continued the race alone. Against all odds, it ran with full speed and emerged the winner with no one on its back! The entire crowd were left speechless. It was a truly unforgettable and emotional sight! 🔥🐎

I've never seen something like this happen in Horseracing. My hats off to Jockey Mychel Sanchez for caring more about the safety of his fellow jockey than winning the race. #1 horse's left rein snapped early in the race. Jockey Abner Adorno basically has no control of the horse. The jockey on the #7 horse, Mychel Sanchez, looks back, sees this and takes his horse out of the race to go and help his fellow jockey. He uses his horse to get in front of the #1 horse to help Abner slow down. "I had to do something, not only because it was him, a great friend, husband, and father, but I saw in his face how in trouble he was." True sportsmanship and selflessness from Jockey Mychel Sanchez. Bravo sir! Bravo! 👏

Horse entered the stalls so fair play to betting companies for paying out 😄 He won the race by a mile without the jockey on watch next run A horse failing to exit the starting stalls before the race begins is typically classified as a non-runner [1]. The new Starters Orders 8 menu's are a big change from Starters Orders 7 but make the process of finding and entering your horse into a race much easier and also add useful filter options. The race list can be filtered by a specific horse and by any of the filters on the right. A range filter has been included so we can filter races by a certain distance/range. Holding shift will imminently pick up a horse so it can be quickly dropped onto the correct race. In this example the jockey booking screen has been turned off speeding up the process further.

We should be ALL OVER this. Got the correct skillset to play all across the front 3, and has the pace and dribbling to morph into the tricky rapid striker that CH is after this window. We've seen it work with Cleary - definitely worth a punt I'd say, whether he leaves or not.

Argue about whether the reporter shouldve spoken up or not (I honestly see both sides) but I think the biggest takeaway here is turbo mucking an allin hand within 1 literal second of the changing river card dropping should never happen & thats the reason for this. ESP at a FT 1/2
