Taiwan has an elected government. Who did elect the CCP into power the last time ? How can the CCP claim then to have more legitimacy to rule over the people of Taiwan than the Taiwanese government elected by the Taiwanese in free elections ?

Taiwan has not been part of China for over 70 years. No one in leadership today and almost no voters were a part of the war between the ROC and PRC. The PRC has never controlled it. Taiwan is independent. Get over it.
