@tamilsforum Diabolical lies as there is no archeological sites or ancient cultural heritage sites for Hindu or Islam religions in Sri Lanka at all. Similarly, only bogus claim of Tamil homeland in the North and East of the country too by TNA, Tamil Diaspora and never ever by Tamils .

I am appalled by the recent events in #Kurunthoormalai as the Sri Lankan state is preventing the Tamil people from practicing their religion at the ancient Aathi Sivan Ayyanar Temple. Over the past years, this site as been continously desecrated despite multiple court orders to respect the site. In the past few days, over 100 police officers and Buddhist monks are preventing the festivities through violent aggression and force, denying Tamil people the universal freedom to worship. This is not the first time that the Sri Lankan state has desecrated ancient Tamil worship sites, as #culturalgenocide is an ongoing reality for the Tamil people. #TamilGenocide
