The thing I’ll say about Sanders is he’s more than prepared to handle NFL pressure. Casual fan take but it seems the QBs that were running for their life in college seem to translate to the NFL the fastest.

As a former NFL Scout, I have an undraftable free agent value on Shedeur Sanders as an NFL projection after evaluating every snap he took for Colorado in 2024. He has this hesitation that’s engrained in him. He looks like he’s afraid to make a mistake throwing. All he did mostly in 2024 was drop back and search for the biggest and safest throwing window against mid to lower level college competition. If he couldn’t find that big safe throwing window, he scrambled around until he could and naturally against these middling college defenders, often coverage broke down to the point he was able to exploit that. It helped having an elite NFL receiver prospect like Travis Hunter. If he still couldn’t find that safe throwing window, he either took a sack or took what these average to below average college defenses would give him on the ground. That’s why he has the slowest time to throw in this draft class (3.00 seconds PFF). It’s because of his process. In other words, his 2024 stats were one big manipulation masterfully created by their offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur to create a “first round narrative.” Shurmur did a masterful job of taking his NFL coaching background into the Big 12 and making Sanders look a lot better than he really is when it comes to being an NFL projection. He threw with little to no anticipation in the intermediate route level (11-19 yards). That’s going to be a significant problem in the NFL. The kind of throwing windows, time and matchups Sanders was able to exploit at Colorado against that soft schedule do not exist in the NFL. Full Season Scouting Report:

Is that hair or a hairline crack on your screen?

That young man completed 74% SEVENTY FOUR behind that line. That's remarkable. Over 70% in his college career and only turned it over 13x. If this cat was at Michigan he would be the unanimous number 1 pick.

Give Sanders decent OL or build a good team around him. He will be fine. I don't get why some people don't see that. If he did it with less, imagine if he had good OL. He is smart. I'm sure he will adjust. He already talked about what he needs to do at the next level at combine

Dan put on the tape of any team that he played with a pulse. Holds ball way too long, mid tier arm, the list goes on. Bad teammate. Hunter is legit, Sanders not so much
