The tariffs don't make sense as economic policy because they aren't economic policy. They are a tool to undermine our democracy. A means to force every major company and industry in America to pledge loyalty to Trump in return for tariff relief.

Strategic tariffs = American strength. Phase One & USMCA delivered 10.5% income surge in 3 yrs vs 1% growth over prior 16. Protect US jobs & tech from China's theft. No more globalist surrender of our industrial base. Economic security = national security.

Undermine the globalists' grip on cheap labor and goods. The pledge by American companies is to build their products here, invest in expanding their business, and hire American workers. All things your party used to believe in.

Not pledge loyalty to Trump to America you dumb bastard

Tariffs as tools of coercion? Classic move from the playbook of autocrats. When loyalty is bought with economic threats, democracy is just a puppet on a string. We must expose these tactics and rally against the erosion of freedom. No backing down!

honestly seems like Trump is being influenced by very nefarious actors trying to actively undermine all U.S. institutions

Not loyalty to Trump— loyalty to AMERICA. Want to avoid tariffs? Bring your manufacturing to the United States. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. “Undermining DEMOCRACY!” 😩 You’re ridiculous. 🤪

No suggested alternatives, just criticism?
