The team cooked on performance. 'Everything the light touches' was optimized Simba. Painting, layout, WebGPU shaders, blocking scripts. Every frame scrutinized. The best part is that we'll be updating our with the lessons learned!

fas fas skills 🥰 so i can use

coming!

It’s TIGHT

Simba?

eve is the best thing that’s ever happened to me

I love seeing push for WebGPU. I already have a WebGPU fork for my renderer. BUT, I am so hesitant to merge. WebGPU support is still very weak. you’d have to support a webgl fallback at the moment. Which then increases app size and tech debt drastically How r u guys doing it?

Very nice. Developing my UIs on Vercel I need all the help I can get.

more help coming. start here:

Thank you Guillermo. I’m a solo dev, learning a lot, always want to understand how best to use each part of the stack. Will be checking that out!

Loads in unbelievably fast. Bravo!

Crazy performance

Performance is the feature users notice without realizing it, this level of attention shows.

Updating with the actual lessons learned is the kind of transparency more teams should do

plays smooth across devices, dialing in the performance during polishing is such a nice feeling

@evilrabbit_ definitely stealing the lessons for my website 😁

WebGPU shaders on a marketing page is a bold call, curious how much the perf gains came from that vs just cutting blocking scripts. usually the scripts are doing 80% of the damage

nice, typography could do better tho

can you make the mobile version just as good

Insanely smooth. The fact you’re optimizing WebGPU shaders and blocking scripts frame-by-frame on the marketing site is wild. This is why Vercel sets the standard. Drop those lessons soon please

w for sharing it!

Definitely seeing a few interesting hacks to achieve dynamic behavior on what I presume is an almost entirely static page. Skills are great, but it would be even better if the page was open source

every frame scrutinized is the part that doesn't ship as a blog post. the WebGPU shaders are interesting. the culture of measuring every frame is the replicable part

love it, all websites should be like this

The best performance work always looks boring from the outside: tiny details, measured one by one, until the whole thing feels impossible to ignore.

Love it.

wow that's fast

re-solving the same layout and shader bottlenecks in every project.

🧑🍳

Make Next faster

Performance work has the same shape as agent work: tight feedback loops, visible evidence, and a shared surface where tiny regressions are not invisible. “Every frame scrutinized” is an operating rhythm, not just optimization.

nice!

Fast! Only nit is the back swipe is jarring and sometimes jumpy

Hey Guillermo, my account appears to have been suspended unexpectedly, and I'm trying to understand the reason. I use Vercel solely to host legitimate web applications for my clients and personal projects. My projects include Nuxt.js, and Next.js applications. I do not host or distribute malicious content, spam, phishing pages, or anything that violates Vercel's Terms of Service. If any project or activity triggered this suspension, I would appreciate specific details so I can investigate and resolve the issue immediately. I'm committed to complying with all of Vercel's policies and would appreciate a review of my account. Can you help me please?

It’s so good. You don’t lose anything when on a tablet either, was playing around yesterday.

INSANELY FAST. The Vercel team is full of chefs 👨🍳
