Thank you @bishopSarahM. Dignity in dying is provided through first rate palliative care, not through telling vulnerable people that they’d be better off dead

Please k!ll the bill in the Lords. Please🥺🙏 It was never fit for purpose as a Private Member's Bill. Can you stop it with the recommendation that if the HoC really want #AssistedSuicide, they can re-introduce it as a gov't bill with all the scrutiny that entails? cc: @nmdacosta

Spot on! And do we really think, as a society, that "some lives are not worth living"??? I hope not.

Well said Bishop Sarah, so pleased to hear of the church speaking up

Well said. Thank you. We must invest in gold standard palliative care for all who need it. The Bill supports assisted suicide & euthanasia. No safe guards for more vulnerable people. As a Disabled Person too many see me as a burden including this Govs policies.

Please bring the humanity back into health and social care. This Bill is unacceptable and risks treating people as if they are simply disposable when they need care and compassion the most.

Thank you for your contribution. The Bill should never have been brought before Parliament through a private member route. It should have been in the Labour manifesto and has been introduced by stealth.

Very profound and well-articulated !! 👏🏽

This bill is the Marxist Fabian society way of getting rid of the unproductive in society The old the sick the disabled at 1st But then it will grow into those who don't agree with the party policy It legalised state execution & has no place in a Christian country our society

Only God gets to choose when it is time Otherwise it is murder This murder bill should be sacked and Lord Falconer stripped of his Lordship and booted out of Lords What a vile man bringing it 5 times No means no

When are you going to oppose all abortion? To my knowledge a baby can’t give consent whereas an adult can.

@nezmonkee Amen

Thank you @bishopSarahM

Absolutely

It doesn't have to be either/or, it could be both. In fact the Bill could have a sunset clause - ending once its purpose is no longer required. Obviously this won't happen, as people's health & wellbeing is not a high enough priority for politicians seeking election.

Amen!

I couldn’t have put that better myself. Unfortunately.

🎯 No, to State Assisted Murder

When human life is meaningless you can be disposed off for having an opinion that isn't in line with the will of the governing party.

What nonsense. My father spent his final months having to wear a nappy and have his arse cleaned. He couldn't get out of bed, he was in constant pain, no drugs helped. He knew he would die. He had no quality of life. He kept asking to die. Yet you think he shouldn't should live

Well said!

Fuck you. If I want help do die then it is my decision nobody else's. Keeping me or other people suffering needlessly shows that you have no sympathy or compassion to the people in pain. We treat animals better than that. You are the one that is evil.

You vicious evil enforcer of suffering. Die screaming if your religion controls you, but it doesn’t control me.

Hear, hear! 👏

It's murder legislation.
