I got wet hands just by watching him drive while simultaneously fiddling on his wheeled smartphone. He was more concerned about his monitor than he was about the street, and that is all you need to know about the dystopian future that lies ahead of us.

The problem is that FSD won’t allow you to look at the screen. Also, it is challenging to make split second decisions with even the smallest latency… a mirror has no perceptible latency.

True. My side mirrors are probably the least useful thing on my Tesla. I’m waiting for the day I rip one off backing into my garage (although they know to fold in on their own when I arrive at home).

When we go to the Carwash sometimes they get pushed outward they are designed to go both ways to avoid damage (same)
