Arkansas 6’3 Freshman PG Jordan Smith Jr is set to be one of the best prospects in next year’s NBA Draft. Smith was one of the biggest standouts in High School where he averaged 27/5/5 on 51/36/74 splits on one of the best teams in High School basketball in Paul VI. Smith was also named the national High School player of the year. Smith is an elite athlete who also has elite strength at 6’3 and uses his mix of athleticism, strength,wingspan, and craft to be one of the most efficient at the rim scorers in the class. He shot 68% at the rim in 239 attempts while also being a high level 3 level scorer who shot 41% from the mid range on 117 attempts, and 36% from three on 152 attempts. Smith is also great at using his scoring ability to create plays for his teammates. Smith is also an active defender who has a high defensive motor and his strength, wingspan, and athleticism gives him all of the tools to be an elite guard defender.

All of a sudden 2 time MVP’s showing up for the first day of OTA’s is a big conversation. Obviously the MVP in question is Lamar Jackson, & it has to be exhausting. It’s clear he needs to win it all, but so do many others who’ve accomplished less individually. On the other hand, Jalen Hurts wins at an extremely high clip. I will be higher than consensus on Mike Washington Jr. RB from Arkansas At 6’2 223 lbs, he has the size to be a workhorse back at the next level. He plays with a mean physical streak as well. What sets him apart though is some big play speed (think he could run in the high 4.4s) and he has the ability to be a legit pass catching back as well. Only think i dislike in my 1st 4 games of all-22 is his pass pro could use some work.

If the reports of Shedeur turning down the Ravens are true then I say Good for him. It’s the right decision. Lamar Jackson is the greatest, most dynamic, & impactful runner of the football to have ever played the QB position… Oh and a historically efficient passer. No one is playing QB for the Ravens as long as that man is standing upright. They have 2 totally different playing styles as well. He could learn the level professionalism, maturity, & leadership it takes to be elite, but there would be no transition of skill sets! Might as well go a place you’d have some chance of playing.
