The Earth's Rotation Speed Visualized 🌏 Kevin Kelly and David Rumsey created an installation of 30 strobe lights, approximately 1.6 kilometers long, depicting the Earth's rotational speed on its axis – 1,674 km/h. The installation is synchronized with a GPS system, allowing viewers to "feel" the planet's actual rotation speed beneath their feet. The installation was first installed at the Burning Man festival in 2024, and this year it returned to the Black Rock Desert, Nevada.

Disgraceful dishonesty by Jim Chalmers. This "three hours for free" only applies to those on "the default market offer". It only applies if you are prepared to use a "smart meter" It only applies in the middle of the day. It will be paid for increasing the cost of electricity at other times of the day. And "under Labor" electricity bills were supposed to go down - but they lied. Labor take the electorate for fools.
