Great news. Who cares about power right now. A few hits by a few more players and this team will be better off. I’ll take the Milwaukee approach and get runners on and moving and runs will be scored.

Trading your stars so bring up Clark to help sell tickets and keep people watching. Writing is on the wall.

Honestly not sure why it took so long. We had to watch at bats from Outman and Vierling when this could’ve been done weeks ago.

Max Clark is PCA if PCA was bad at baseball.

Hopefully the kid can grow tf up. Incredibly immature. Screams bust honestly. Scott Harris is so desperate

Hao-Yu Lee

His first MLB game will be in a AAA park.

Need to sell what we can. Skubal. Torres. Jansen. Finnegan. Mize. Clark getting called is the silver lining. Lots of young talent will still get me to watch. Clark, McG, Dingler, melton, montero, Lee, Valencia. Those guys and Riley Greene all I care about. Everyone else stinks

The Tork-Cough earned a follow. LOL.

Max and Kevin are bros. They will carry us to the World Series

This had little to do with Clark being ready to contribute or not, but more about team control. Why now? Because Harris has to give something to keep the fans coming out once they deal Skubal.

Saving face, that's all there is

I think he’s ready but it’s a little bit of an odd time to call him up with the deadline in a couple days and only a couple weeks until he can maintain rookie status.

Would be nice if they could bring up some bullpen arms

Season over anyways

I was surprised that they called him up. It was almost like they wanted to give the fan base something to look forward to as they trade Skubal. I just read recently that his velocity off the bat wasn’t very good yet. When I saw him in Spring Training this year he totally didn’t look ready. Hopefully some miracle has happened and he’ll be ready to hit in the Majors. I hope so for him and the fans. A lot of difference between the players from AAA to the Majors.

Now that he is up... and presuming he is at least decent... What is the wish list for trades? I would like to get a solid 3rd baseman with 2+ years left on his contract for Skubal. And I think we trade Torres and Mize for some actually decent bullpen arms. Quality over quantity.

Hao Yu forget about Lee??

Maybe its more of an audition for the league aka trade bait?

"I don't care how many chains he wears or tats he has." I can't believe that people still care about that sh**. I've even heard people say that they're happy that the Lions didn't get Maxx Crosby because of that variable, and I've heard many people apply a term to him that I consider racist-- "w***er." It's un...be..lie..vable. It's 2026, folks.

Many signs point to Clark being called up so he can be included in a trade package with Skubal. Don’t get your hopes up.

That Torkelson shit was hilarious

I don't totally understand this. If they didn't call him up until August 14th they would save a year of service time.. So why would they call him up 2 weeks prior? 1) they know they're not going to play next year!! 2) they still think they can make a run this year

This depends on which injured list is used. Putting a player on the standard 10-day or 15-day injured list does not clear a 40-man roster spot, but transferring or placing that player on the 60-day injured list temporarily removes them from the 40-man roster, freeing up a spot

Bad move. If next season doesn’t happen, with Max Clark on 40 man roster, he won’t be able to play AAA games next year. I hope he proves me wrong but why now?

Big help great player. Let's see it
