The tiktok ban: That was embarrassing

They're going after tiktok because they think it's what helped bring out the young vote in 2020 and 2022 That's my take

That's a bad comparison. You might feel some way because you're invested in TikTok, but Women having their reproductive rights compromised is not the same or on par just because some men don't understand it. A lot of people don't understand a lot of things.

Sadly those are the very people who SHOULD be working on a national data privacy framework covering all social media. Instead they're being fed talking points from lobbyists (or other politicians) looking only to further their own self interests (and line their own pockets)

Facebook wanted TikTok banned because it's taking their "customers". Algorithmic curation drives TikTok rather than tracking your every move like Facebook does and they don't know how to compete so they want it banned
