This landmark legislation seeks to protect our cultural and traditional values and the innocence of our children. GAOBEREKWE LAID TO REST The remains of Pitseng Gaoberekwe have been laid to rest in Metsiamanong after lying in a mortuary for over 2 years. Present at the funeral were the President Advocate Duma Boko, Vice President Ndaba Gaolathe and some Cabinet Ministers. The funeral takes place on the International Human Rights Day, when the global community is commemorating the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948. The theme for this year’s International Human Rights Day is "Our Rights, Our Future, Right Now."
