At the Toronto Police Service Board meeting today Chief Myron Demkiw spoke about Toronto Police’s participation in Vital Archer – a bi-lateral, interagency training exercise focused on responding to complex, high-risk incidents. This is the first time a Canadian municipal police service has taken part in this long-standing exercise. There is no threat to public safety – but it’s important that we be as prepared as possible in the event of a real-life scenario.
