“Danger Zone” in Top Gun (1986) is the movie’s entire vibe in one go, the second that track hits over the credits you’re already in, and Maverick (2022) never really gives you another moment like that.

You’re not telling me that the most important film of all time produced this split second scene by sheer coincidence.

STAND BY ME (1986) always feels more like remembering a summer that never actually happened. The adventure is great, but what lingers is that bittersweet realization that some childhood friendships end long before anyone realizes they’re ending.

mesmerizing scene and during the whole shooting of that scene, she did it in fear. you'd never know by looking at her dance for them.

“Give it to me.” The moment the Schofield Kid realizes who William Munny really is in UNFORGIVEN (1992) changes the entire movie. Clint Eastwood owns every second of that scene.

"What draws people to 🇨🇦 is freedom, but freedom also in the context of order... Part of the reason that we are Canada and not part of the United States is because we as a society looked at what was going on the United States... way back after the revolution... [and said] 'okay they are really preoccupied with freedom, and that is good, but they are also kind of subject to mob rule and the excesses that freedom can bring in its train.' [Canadians] wanted to carve out in North America a society that had a better balance between freedom and order." Brian Lee Crowley, MLI's managing director, speaking with the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation. Watch the full event at the link below 👇

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) captures a version of suburban America that no longer exists. Comfortable middle class affluence, unchecked teenage freedom, and parents so detached they barely register the rebellion.

After director Rob Reiner screened the movie for Stephen King, he noticed that King was visibly shaking and wasn’t speaking. He left the room and upon his return, told Reiner that the movie was the best adaptation of his work he had ever seen. A story that captures friendship, childhood memories, and the bittersweet truths of life. And that last line... 'I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was 12. Jesus, does anyone?' Hits straight to the heart! 🎥: Stand By Me
