The legal research is certainly not flawless. In fact, two briefs in NJ were recently booted for containing AI accuracy. Proper and precise legal conclusions are far far away.

Well, if it is anything like the quality of legal research from every AI platform out there today, there should be no worries. It’s complete shit. Good for editing, terrible for accurate or precise research.

What happens when AI surpasses human intelligence to the point where the smartest person on the planet cannot understand how anything works? Then we become so reliant on AI that a fundamental failure or outage could be much more catastrophic than any similar event today

Legal research can NOT be done in minutes. AI shoots back fake cases and several lawyers have lost their jobs for relying on AI which gave bogus results.

Maybe if AI can stop providing false cases and false holdings and lawyers can stop being sanctioned for using it, it may do what you say.
