The Trenches in Madden 27 have my DEEPLY concerned.

In the video I am speaking directly about the edges. the pocket never gets formed in 3 straight plays, its a straight line as edges are not getting any depth. almost every pocket i saw from Bengals video was like this as well. very few actual pockets forming

i watched both of bengals videos on stream today and we broke down the gameplay, wasn't much since it was play moments. This is what virtually every pocket looked like, did have a handful of good looking pockets, but the majority were straight line whether user or cpu

That looks like a scat protection which is normal for a 3 step drop. Now if they’re doing the same thing on 5 and 7 step drops then I would be concerned.

Idk how people are saying you're wrong... an NFL pass rush does not look like this. This static animation lock is just so bad. A real NFL pass rush would be flying around the QB and causing him to at least move around if the throw takes anywhere over 2.5 seconds max

There is never a pocket in madden and hasn’t been in years. To this day all pro football nfl 2k got it right. This is why on madden people drip back 10 + yards because it’s no pocket and the tackles don’t get depth. Untill this is fixed there will always be cheese and bs in game

Agreed. Pocket formation is poor in both Madden and CFB. If the trenches aren't "right" the game isn't "right" The fundamentals (running, blocking tackling, catching, etc) are represented so poorly in EA's fb games. Please remember that sliders cannot fix this.

This is why the guy become a problem. Some of yall so use to just sitting in the pocket for a long time to make reads instead of climbing the pocket and make a read faster. In the nfl the pockets are never perfect and they get in the backfield quick
