He doesn’t have to stop that’s a junction not a mandatory stop sign. He pumped out with plenty of views if his surroundings and with plenty of space to do so. It was his road over the guy in the black car.

FYI it’s a Give away Line not a Stop Line …… therefore not requirements to stop

“Stop” no he doesn’t have to. He has to give way which I agree he probably hasn’t done but that is not a STOP junction. Give way only.

People will defend the driver, knock the other roads users not in cars and berate the cameraman/JV and anyone else who gets in their way. The wonders of social media.

It's also a terrible junction as with the tree being set back from the main road by having a cycle lane means the driver has to creep into the cycle lane to get visibility. The golf I think does the same thing of creeping forward to get a better view.

I hate junctions like that. Poor planning. It needs to extend into the road a little or that tree removing. That give way needs to be a stop. I don't know how they've got away with that into a dedicated bike lane.

That's why super-wide cycle lanes are a menace if you're trying to turn into a busy road. You need to move forward to be able to see and be able to feed into traffic. He isn't the best exponent of it in this clip but the road design is equally to blame
