The True Size of Finland 🇫🇮

Finland covers about 338,455 sq km, making Finland one of the largest countries in Europe by area

@IsoHenkka So why does Finland need to import half of Somalia then?

Oops? Reeallyy?? I'd calculate for example Ukraine a "bit" bigger (~ 1,78 × size of Finland) Map projection gone awry (on purpose)?

The old map trick

Except maps do not show the true size of countries, because they project a 3D sphere onto a 2D square.

Finland shares land borders with Sweden (west), Norway (north), and Russia (east), with the Baltic Sea to the south

Finland has around 188,000 lakes, giving Finland the nickname “Land of a Thousand Lakes”

It's so satisfying to watch the country get bigger as you go up north or down south

the delusion of finnish lehtish etc.politicians of what is Finlands size to give taxpayers money to others and destory our own economy by lying how it is our fault that usa inida china russia etc.polutin the world to death

Bigger than i expected. Its a W.

Use a true size map

Smol

See, so small. Don't come to Finland.

I always thought Madagascar was just a tiny island, but it's actually huge.

It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it.

The True Size of Finland.

In the country area ranking of all countries Finland is at place 64 or 65.

I know the silent hidden meaning of this message.

@AnttiHenttonen9 Fooled by mercator projection

Kokoaan suurempi kun on kaikkialla maailmassa näemmä.

WINLAND 🇫🇮

We are smol

@viateusi

HAH! German so tiny with a tiny army xDDD ROFL

BS.

@maindi Still huge

That's the true size of my dick 😎

@jaananieminen8 Kokoaan suurempi… yeah right

Kuten havaitsette. Meillä nyt ei vaan ole tilaa.

really? another repoost? originality seems to be taking a backseat these days leet's see some fresh ideas #unimpressed
