The Trump administration recently stopped a half a billion dollars worth of USDA emergency food from reaching America’s emergency food banks, including here in Oregon.

Governor, at some point you run out of other people's money. You want to pile even more debt on my grandchildren. At some point we must stand up and say enough. This was supposed to be ONE-TIME emergency funding for COVID. The emergency is over. The funding should end.

Why do 1/3 of your constituents live on some sort of public aid? Why are you such a failure at creating a robust, thriving, and desirable state to live in, work, and visit? Again, you never explained why food banks need taxpayer money since the food is donated, the banks are manned by volunteers and managed by a nonprofit. Did the nonprofit employees buy some Mercedes and downtown parking permits and ran out of money for the donations and overhead?
