The Trump Administration will relentlessly pursue and arrest every violent criminal in D.C. who breaks the law, undermines public safety, and endangers law-abiding Americans. President Trump is going to make our Nation’s capital the most beautiful and safe city on Earth – just as he promised on the campaign trail.

While Democrats continue to coddle violent criminals, President Trump and this Administration are focused on putting them behind bars and unapologetically standing up for the safety of law-abiding American citizens.

This week, House Republicans will vote on FOUR D.C. crime bills - building on President Trump’s successful crackdown. These bills will: - Stop the left-wing D.C. Council from letting violent juveniles off easy - Restore law enforcement’s ability to pursue fleeing suspects - Lower the age for trying violent juveniles as adults - Return judicial appointments in D.C. back to Congress We are restoring LAW & ORDER to our Nation’s Capital and setting a model for the rest of America.

In line with President Trump’s directive to “Make D.C. Safe and Beautiful,” my office will determine every defendant’s legal status as soon as a matter is brought here. I am cutting the red tape and pushing back against the sanctuary city status of D.C. so that we can protect the hard-working citizens of our nation’s capital. No longer will illegals be found burrowing in our cases in the criminal justice system.

President Trump promised to restore LAW AND ORDER — and the results speak for themselves. 🇺🇸 2025: Largest reduction in violent crime in American history 🇺🇸 9 of the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted fugitives CAPTURED 🇺🇸 Violent criminals taken off our streets 🇺🇸 Law enforcement BACKED by the White House President Trump reads about these cases. He knows the victims. He feels the pain of families who have lost loved ones. And he has given law enforcement the support needed to deliver historic results. This FBI will continue crushing violent crime and defending the homeland. Thank you, President Trump, for your unwavering leadership and support of America’s law enforcement. -DKP🇺🇸

Members of Congress are not above the law. What happened at Delaney Hall wasn’t oversight— it was obstruction, and it was criminal. It’s disgraceful that elected officials are fighting to protect violent illegal aliens— murderers, rapists, and gang members— over the safety of law-abiding Americans. Under President Donald J. Trump Trump, there are consequences. Especially for those who break the law and put the American people at risk.

Does Boston’s Mayor Michelle Wu think these violent criminal illegal aliens are above the law? She and her fellow Sanctuary City mayors want a lawless nation. President Trump and Secretary Noem are restoring the rule of law and putting the safety of Americans first.

🚨 PRESIDENT TRUMP LAYS DOWN THE LAW ON MINNESOTA President Trump spoke directly with Governor Walz and made his demand clear: The chaos must end — today. His plan is simple and decisive: • Turn over all criminal illegal aliens in state custody • Transfer illegal aliens arrested locally to federal authorities • Fully cooperate with ICE in removing violent offenders If Minnesota follows the law, federal backup won’t be needed. President Trump is also calling on Congress to end sanctuary cities once and for all — because American cities should be safe for law-abiding citizens, not criminal illegals. Over 80% of Americans support deporting violent offenders. The voters already rejected open borders. President Trump is delivering exactly what the people demanded: strong borders, law and order, and a safer America.

.Ted Cruz reacts to President Trump’s decisive action to restore law and order in D.C: "What’s happening in D.C. is easy. President Trump is showing bold and strong leadership. Legally, he unquestionably has the authority to do what he is doing. I will say, for the residents of D.C., there are many of them who are thrilled right now. And I think the president is showing strong leadership by saying we stand with police officers, we stand with law enforcement, and we’re going to keep your city and your families safe."
