To me this is an interesting take on schools in this country. However while there is certainly truth in what she says, school is a developmental process. For those who ever studied quantum physics you only realize at the end of your studies that you were taught half truths in the beginning to establish a basis of understanding of a great truth. A good teacher is a guide to higher levels of knowledge and enlightenment. And the there are some students that you must hit with a 2 X 4 to first get their attention.

It has to return ( or move dramatically forward!) to teaching children to THINK instead of getting the ‘right’ answer on the test. The skillful teacher says to the student who has failed the experiment for the fourth time “And what did you learn THIS time?” 😎

Yes I discovered this in public school and fought against the system all the way through school and struggled because of it. I never started to really learn about things until I left the school system. School is all just spoon fed to you just like the news.

My grandson who was in 4th grade said. You know school is like a prison? Look how they are both set up the same. My mom and dad's are sending me to prison everyday. I looked and the kid is right.

Amen!! I coached in our local schools and they teach failure is the best option. These kids can do anything with the right mind set!!! The narrative to hate thy brother is strong and alive it’s time to love thy Nieghbor!!!

I got straight ass in school now I understand why I’m successful. I did the exact opposite. There was a test, but they said it’s gonna determine my whole life. When you’re done you can leave. I put all A’s and went surfing.😂
