This is definitely one of the most terrifying scriptures in the whole Bible.

Scary!! ๐ฅฒ in as much as itโs great to do Godโs work, the ultimate is to focus on HIM..

5. Most Christians live like a football fan. They cheer for their team on Sunday, โGo Jesus, Goโ but then go home & live their lives. But the football players train every day and do the work, and who will get the crown at the end? The fans or the players? Read the Bible and do it

I have a honest question: how did they perform many miracles "in His name" if they are workers of iniquity? I think of 2 categories: a) those who perform miracles with demonic powers b) those who were once filled with the Holy Spirit but later lost their way Are there others?

So thenโฆwhat does it mean to know God? And what does it mean for Him to know you? How does one know? Examine yourself indeedโฆ. But what is it you hope to find?

As much as this is terrifying and makes me scared when I come across this verse I know it also mentions โOnly those who follow the will of my father will see the kingdom of Godโ So those blessed with the holy spirit and still didn't follow the 10 commandments of God will perish.

3. One of the reasons why God might not know you is because you donโt obey His command to be Saved. You hold on to John 3:16 and donโt read the first part of the conversation in John 3:1-6, which says you must be born of water and Spirit to enter the kingdom of God. Need both!

4. Everyone is created by God but not everyone is Godโs adopted child. Read Galatians 5:19-21, you keep living like that, you wonโt enter the Kingdom of God. S*x outside of marriage?, you wonโt make it in. Read it.

It is not about our mistakes or sinning occasionally, but living in a state of ongoing rebellion, without repentance. Those who make a practice of it. With that considered, the opposite must also be true; Those who do not make a practice of lawlessness can feel assured that they do in fact know Christ. Not due to your own might but due to then Holy Spirit dwelling within you, you can examine yourself and see that inner change is occurring. Christlikeness. This will be seen by the fruits of our character, by His Holy Spirit; Love; joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These virtues characterize a life led by the Holy Spirit. This is how we know
