The Two Ronnies - Four Candles/Fork Handles (1976)

I don't remember when it was first broadcast but it must have been the funniest sketch ever at the time. Still makes me laugh like a drain now, 46 years later.

Ronnie B has all the big lines … but Ronnie C owns this sketch for me. He gets slowly more irate as it goes on, which adds to the fun. it’s sheer genius … nothing less.

Probably the best and funniest sketch of all time, in my opinion that is😂😂

Without doubt the funniest sketch ever and I had the honour, with Ronnie Barkers permission, to perform it in a local show.

The best sketch ever. I smile just thinking about it and 'four candles, andles for forks' was a little joke between me and my hugely missed Dad.

This was an era when comedy was amazing,genius and funny.

Genius, nothing has ever come close.

This has to be one of the best ,if not thee best comedy sketch ever!
