Rebels are attempting to free prisoners from a "torture prison" in Syria, — BBC reports They have managed to open cells on the upper floors, but access to the underground levels, referred to as the "Red Block" or "Death Chambers," is currently impossible. These areas were intended for the regime's most dangerous prisoners. The doors can only be opened via a complex computer system. Meanwhile, all prison guards have already left the facility. Saydnaya Prison has been dubbed the "Human Slaughterhouse" — according to the SOHR, around 30,000 people have died there. This is how numerous underground tunnels were discovered in the prison. Now rebels are trying to find doors to these levels and breaking down walls in search of a passage. Many of the prisoners have been there for decades. Women and children have also been found in the prison.

You see, the problem with the Non Europeans we are seeing causing havoc in Europe is … they do not misbehave this much in their own countries. They respect authority and fear the law as they know the consequences of misbehaving often leads to an inhumane prison cell or death. The reason why they act this way in Europe is because of the weak laws that allow them to get away with this. Let’s not also forgot the Marxist education system they’ve been raised in that teaches them to “decolonise the west” “white = bad”etc. The same pressure we put on “deportations” is the same pressure we must put on governments to introduce harsher penalties (not by inhumane prison cells and death) but by lengthy prison sentences for misbehaving.

The HMP Millsike super-prison, which opened last April, was hailed as a state-of-the-art facility capable of housing up to 1,500 prisoners. However, the Independent Monitoring Board’s first annual report paints a very different picture, describing chaotic conditions and revealing that during the East Yorkshire prison’s first few months, prisoners were effectively “running the prison”. The report highlights serious problems with staff recruitment – and around 90% of prison officers having no previous experience of working in a prison. Mitie, the company that runs the prison, told us in a statement: “while we value the Independent Monitoring Board’s oversight, we do not believe its description of the prison at the time it opened, as being a fair or accurate reflection of the conditions at HMP Millsike.”

Built on 100 hectares of land under the leadership of revolutionary Pan-African former president Thomas Sankara in 1984 and opened in 1986, the prison focuses on rehabilitation through teaching crucial job skills, primarily agriculture, the largest field of work in the country. President Traoré is the first head of state to visit the prison. Burkina Faso is thinking critically about how to create a new model for its justice system, built upon repair rather than punishment. On 8 November, 2024, the country passed a new law allowing judges to sentence people convicted of crimes to one month of community service in place of three months in prison. Community service was defined as agricultural production, livestock or poultry farming, and factory work. Prisoners also have a legal right to one week off for health, family, social, or other personal reasons. President Traoré clearly recognises that those incarcerated in these facilities are not the enemies of the people. Rather, it is the imperialists and their lackeys who constitute the true threat to the nation. Most people know this happens, but society tends to shrug because “they’re criminals anyway.” That attitude lets the corruption fester.
