The Ugandan regime at it again! Now using force and violence to enforce a "cleaning campaign"! Again, they've lost any ability to persuade so they have to coerce. Sad!

There is a difference between holding government accountable and reducing every national initiative to a political talking point. If your public messaging about Uganda is almost exclusively negative, don’t be surprised when people question whether you’re cultivating patriotism or perpetual pessimism. When was the last time you publicly celebrated something good about Uganda?

This bro wants to impress his donors about everything

Eno ewaffe Tebinyume 😤😅

People should feel like they own this initiative, you wonder why canes are being involved when even in schools they no longer beat

Your message about cleanliness was well communicated without beating anyone.

You don't know.the generation you are dealing with Bobi... A generation where rubbish is thrown out of a moving car, A generation where our leaders should be at the forefront of the cleanliness drive, but can't support it because they are opposition... A generation that ignores the right, and prefer the wrong...

Coercion

Your the only one Ugandans would listen to.

But I don't know why they force themselves on Ugandans

@HEBobiwine governments are elected to govern not to persuade every citizen into complying with every directive. Persuasion is the language of politicians seeking office directives are the responsibility of governments in office. I thought you understood that distinction.

Bulunji bwa nsi simulunji

@BenjaBe89164233 A little too much force for something citizens would do willingly

THIS COMES IN

Of course Bobi that's the only language Ugandans understand and I was particularly pleased that some youth in our area were stopping everyone passing by to clean. You should also encourage your foot soldiers to do the same. Everything doesn't have to be political and about you. It would have been fine for you to fly in and clean with us and go back.

If he didn't want to work he would have just stayed home, most people have done it without being coerced

If you had posted before, encouraging Ugandans to patriotically participate in the national clean-up exercise, this post would have had even greater value. Inspiring action before the event makes a bigger impact. Constructive engagement is more effective than politics.

@Ntalebrian22 Legitimacy Deficit

@brucenahabwe1 For us we didn’t wait for kiboooooko cos we know this government

However cleaning was necessary though it affected people who had woken up already I don't think this is about politics

Your party NUP is part of government. How many persuasive words have you used to mobilize ugandans to take part in an initiative to clean share they live and work from? Do you think about about what you want to post before posting? What kind of a leader are you?

When you listen carefully to the audio in the background. The crowd seems to be supporting the action taken by police. BOBI WINE please reason for once.

Someones father/boyfriend treated in such way all in the name of cleaning

Imagine getting upset because a city is being cleaned. If sweeping streets is now ‘state oppression,’ then dust must have hired a PR team. Kampala deserves to be clean. #Keepkampalaclean

This is an isolated case that everyone should condemn; however, I do believe the idea of public cleaning is a good one and should be welcomed by everyone. Let's champion it regardless of our political affiliation.

Bro you’re now trying to impress your donors! It’s so clear.

Where are you tweeting from bro?

I believe they first talked to him politely but he might have wanted to prove a point 😅 so they worked on him Just abide by and do the needful arrogance doesn’t help Anyways I might be wrong what do I know #cleanuganda

Now, this guy has nothing else to tell us. Ssebaduka

They had to create another way to brutalize Ugandans

Were is political prisoners
