The UK government is reported to be developing a “murder prediction” programme which it hopes can use personal data of those known to the authorities to identify the people most likely to become killers. So shoud AI tell us who will kill?

I don’t see how this would work especially recently authorities had information on a certain individual that he was radicalised and didn’t act on it and that cost kids lives amongst others so how can they predict what will happen in the future
