She should come here to Kyiv and speak to people. She is utterly wrong. Putin never had any intention of avoiding this war. It's an Imperial war & Moscow must have Empire. The so called talks were proven to be a stalling technique so they could make another run on Odesa.

Trump declared that Ukraine has "big problems." I think Ukraine will have big problems whether Ukraine agrees to "sign the deal" or not. Because Ukraine won't stop the war, and its sabotage against Russia will continue. Of course, Russia will tolerate this for the sake of peace and only complain to the UN. But in eight years, Russia will get fed up and will have to finish what it doesn't want to finish now.

They didn't need this war in Ukraine; they needed Ukraine. But greed won out, and the US entered this war with Russia, declaring its intention to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. But something went wrong, and in the face of a possible nuclear war, the US abruptly decided to distance itself from it. And now, Trump is proposing his "peace plan" to maintain control over at least part of Ukraine. Putin agrees with Trump's plan, but at the same time claims that the goals of Russia's special operation in Ukraine will certainly be achieved. However, Ukraine and Europe have a different opinion. And I don't know what Trump's optimism is based on.
