Vince built this empire and he built these characters. He isn’t entirely free of having blood on his hands by any means but no one would be even watching WWF or discussing this without Vince McMahon. And I would defend the old legends like Warrior over the clowns of today all day long and forever.

Hogan and Vince were match made POS’s. Hogan ratted out Jesse Ventura when he was trying to start a union for the wrestlers so that they’d all get fair pay and benefits instead of just Hogan. And of course, once Vince found out he made sure it didn’t happen.

That Jim was inducted into The Hall of Fame, made up with Hogan, cut a final promo on Raw, and dies the next day is a character arc so wild Vince couldn’t make it up. It would be too over the top…

Truth be told Vince was wrong. I was an ultimate warrior fan. Still am to this day. The warrior wasn’t hogan. He was something else. Something better and we loved it.

Man it's crazy as a kid looking up to these guys not even realizing the amount of needles and coke the were messing with. So many of them as entertainers got caught up especially that era
