The umpire getting this mad at Rob Thomson is flat out embarrassing and unprofessional. Rob was well within his rights to yell at him. To make things worse, the umpire gets to just continue doing a horrible job while Thomson gets ejected and fined.

I like it actually. However, the double standard of umpires being able to put hands on coaches/players bothers me. Either neither can touch the other, or let's just let them fight.

Yes. True. The umps have been terrible this whole series but this dingdong was the worse today. And Rob had every right to be mad. U could clearly see he was favoring Baltimore in every aspect of this game. Pitching , hitting etc.

A reminder that Homeplate umpire, Mike Estabrook cost us the game on the very first batter! I turned the game off knowing we had zero chance. What baseball wants, baseball gets. And they will protect the umpires in any way possible, especially when it comes to screwing us over.

I enjoy the umpire getting pissed off. He knows he's been terrible. It's way better theater as well

There needs to be some control over the umpires. Not only was the guy terrible calling balls and strikes but there is no excuse for him to behave like that. To many games are being decided by bad umpires.
