But such power requires the United Nations itself to understand and be able to explain the fundamental concepts it constantly invokes. What is peace? What is justice? What is order? How can we demand that power answer to “principle” if those principles themselves have not been made clear? Wisdom is not demonstrated by silence in the face of these fundamental questions. I have raised these questions repeatedly and have yet to receive an answer. Break this silence. Explain peace, justice, and order. If the United Nations wants to become stronger, perhaps the starting point is not greater financial and personnel resources, but greater knowledge and wisdom. A wise United Nations is my aspiration, and I am working to achieve it.
