If I have to pretend my firearm is loaded at all times, I can't take it anywhere. Not even off the firing point at a range, or from my home to the range. Don't be a Fudd. Remember part 2 of that rule (that Cooper left off...)

My dad taught me these at a young age. My son is just over a year old. Can't wait for him to get older so I can teach him. Someone asked me why I let my 1 year old go up and down the basement steps when I'm with him...teach him safety, respect, and how to properly use it and he'll be the better for it.

Rule number 5: Pistols live in holsters. It is your primary safety and the only time your pistol should be out of the holster is to use it, store it, or administratively handle it. Also, a good, safe holster completely covers the trigger well to help prevent ND/AD. 👍🍻
