I'm glad the prime minister made this event a priority today. We have plenty of street parties but something like this comes along once in decades.

My ignorance is showing. Just wondering why is he draped in a Canadian flag instead of a Newfoundland flag? Canada didn’t join Newfoundland until 1949.

Does anyone else think the unknown soldier might be pretty shocked to see how the country he fought for turned out? What he thought he was fighting for: freedom and nation What he actually fought for: inbred European Royal families and a government which surely would hate/despise him as a racist/homophobe for disagreeing with mass migration, and out of control LGBTQ teachers at St. Matthew's Elementary.
