This past Tuesday, I addressed the UN High-level Meeting on the overall review of the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS+20). I reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to a people-centred, inclusive, and development-oriented digital society. My address stressed on the progress Ghana has made towards WSIS+20 in the areas of expanding national connectivity, strengthening digital public infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity and data protection frameworks, and advancing ethical AI governance. I also highlighted steps we are taking to combat mis(dis)information while underscoring the importance of digital inclusion and international cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. In service for God and Country. 🦁🇬🇭
